The things in this little log don’t follow any plan. They just sort of landed here, each one a snapshot of whatever was going on when I wrote it. Some are copies I didn’t want to lose - insurance against the usual chaos of drives dying and links breaking. Others are just stray thoughts that showed up and needed somewhere to sit for a while. A few look like they might turn into something bigger someday, though that’s never really the point. It’s mostly just scraps, really. Odds and ends. I started putting them here to clear space in my head, instead of dumping them into some faceless cloud where they’d disappear under a pile of other forgotten files. This feels more like keeping a drawer full of old postcards: unorganised, slightly embarrassing, but mine. There’s no audience in mind, no grand reason for any of it. I don’t expect anyone to read these notes, and I’m fine with that. Still, it seems worth saying why, in 2025, I’m still bothering to keep this kind of record at all. Maybe it’s just a way of reminding myself that not everything needs to be for show. And don't worry - this weblog has a A+ carbon rating.
